Blog on Speed

I thought I better lay down some blog...Renee has posted three in the last week I think. Her blog must be on speed or something. (she even had time to blog about her vehicle?)

It's barely summer and my baby girl already has a tan line! She loves it outside - and loves the water. Pool water, hose water, even the dog water! She LOVES it - We are taking swim lessons in a few weeks. I'll let you know how that goes :)

If she is not in the water, you can bet she is in the hammock. Usually with Grita, but sometimes with Paige the Pig dog.

I am so proud of Ainzley! I am not talking about the fact that she is already potty trained - I am talking about her love of "mainting". She loves to maint ~ aka Paint! She is my little Picasso :)

She is a clown!

I am telling you, this girl is wild. She is chattering non-stop and is usually saying something hilarious. She is always coming up with something to make me laugh...we have a blast together and I for one can't wait for school to be out!!

She is sporting Paw Paw's safety glasses....and a little bit of lip stick too.
:) that's my girl!

TWO is on the horizon!

I cannot believe Ainzley is almost 2!
Time has just flown by and the Terrible Twos are upon us....YIKES!

I mean like seriously - she is almost driving :)

My little music maker.
50 cents well spent if you ask me...maybe not if you ask the other people in Hobby Lobby!

If you keep up with Renee's blog, then you know she got to go on a really cool trip to NY. Well we were pretty excited about that too because Campbell got to come for a visit :) They had the best time playing with each other...

Their first slumber party :) they were both asleep by 9 pm :)

That's a wrap

Well I am a little, okay, way behind on this whole blog thing. I try to update my facebook with photos, but am not all that good about that either.
WOW! What a year. Ainzley has changed so much! She amazes me everyday. She is so smart and funny too! She is talking up a storm and saying something new almost every day. She has a cute little voice and a funny little accent.
These are some of my favorite words:
  • "toot" - she is a toot sometimes and when she says it is so funny. Not only does it sound funny, but when she puckers her lips it is hilarious
  • "cute" - which come out Koot
  • "coke" and "coat" - sound a lot alike and sort of with a spanish accent
  • "britches" - as in tacky britches
  • "onion" - thats how Ellen came out - so now she has a new nick name :)

Here are some pics:

She loves her PawPaw and she loves going outside. *notice the fancy pink cowboy boots*

This is Bevo and kitty. She likes to feed them and then talks to them while they eat.

I am telling you, this girl is funny:

CHRISTMAS SEASON:
We had fun opening presents this year. Campbell was a blast to watch! Ainzley opened two presents - a music making Mickey book from her Grita and some bubble wrap from her PawPaw. That was it - she was fascinated with the two! That was it - she was done.

Two little angels -hahhahahahaha

PoopC and the gang gave her this gaming chair. She watches SpongeBob in this chair :)

Ainzley and "H"

The paci goes IN the mouth - if she finds it that's where it goes.

Hopefully 2010 I will be better at posting - but you know how that goes...
Check out my facebook :)

Game Weekend means Campbell Comes to Play

Horns UP! Go Horns Go!
First game of the season...that means Campbell got to come play! Opal was so excited! Someone to play with outside!!!

We made the transaction in San Marcos - did some light shopping, ate lunch, and then headed to Grita's house with Campbell. First crack out of the box, the girls want to head outside. Straight to the swing set!

Campbell striking a pose for her Momma -

"Look Mom, I'm having FUN!"

Grita wanted me to take a picture of her doing something she's not allowed to do at home...but Renee has her brainwashed - hahaha - okay maybe she just has her trained. But either way, she doesn't do much she is not allowed to do - And I wouldn't want to incriminate myself by putting that sort of thing in print :)

Renee says they call Campbell "Diva" in her class as school - Ainzley Opal is anything but. She is more of a tornado. The outdoorsy type to say the least.

Exhibit A:

She is quite the helper. She was helping Paw Paw with the
sprinkler system. Notice the two fist fulls of dirt :)

Exhibit B:

Playing outside with Campbell. I guess she got tired! Who knows what she was thinking...

Lots of fun when Campbell comes to play! I think Campbell would say Grita's house gets a SUPER HIGH FIVE!

over due update

I am way behind...but without a computer, I just don't get around to it. Hopefully me and Melvin will be giving each other a laptop for our upcoming birthdays, but we'll see...

In the meantime, get on facebook if you want to see updated pictures more frequently :)

Today me, mom, dayce, and ainzley ventured out into the shopping world - yes, even though it is the tax-free weekend. We, okay, MOM, is crafting some elephants out of sweaters.

Here is Ainzley's:

This was made from one of my old sweaters...cute, huh?

So we were on the hunt for old sweaters!

Ainzley found a couple of other things too....A doll for her and campbell.

Meet Tessie & Ana (short for Texana)

They came from the Texas Thrift Store. They were cheap, but we will have to make up the price difference by purchasing Clorox wipes :)

old blue eyes

Here's some funny pictures of my silly girl:

This one is funny too - a little blurry, but you get the point :)
