Game Weekend means Campbell Comes to Play

First game of the season...that means Campbell got to come play! Opal was so excited! Someone to play with outside!!!

We made the transaction in San Marcos - did some light shopping, ate lunch, and then headed to Grita's house with Campbell. First crack out of the box, the girls want to head outside. Straight to the swing set!

Grita wanted me to take a picture of her doing something she's not allowed to do at home...but Renee has her brainwashed - hahaha - okay maybe she just has her trained. But either way, she doesn't do much she is not allowed to do - And I wouldn't want to incriminate myself by putting that sort of thing in print :)

Renee says they call Campbell "Diva" in her class as school - Ainzley Opal is anything but. She is more of a tornado. The outdoorsy type to say the least.

over due update

I am way behind...but without a computer, I just don't get around to it. Hopefully me and Melvin will be giving each other a laptop for our upcoming birthdays, but we'll see...

Today me, mom, dayce, and ainzley ventured out into the shopping world - yes, even though it is the tax-free weekend. We, okay, MOM, is crafting some elephants out of sweaters.

So we were on the hunt for old sweaters!

Ainzley found a couple of other things too....A doll for her and campbell.

She is a monkey see - monkey do kinda girl. She is copying everything right now...she is playing on the computer just like Grita does. Check it out - you can even see her little finger getting ready to "click".

Okay - I know. I need to update her blog way more often. But here are some new pictures so you can see what she's up to....

This was her first push-up pop. The little waiter at Chuy's offered it up and she loved it - even growled at Grita when she took a bite :)

This is a preview of her birthday picts. She LOVES Mickey Mouse...pretty cute mouse, huh?

She is such a goofy little thing. She tries to put Everything on her head. Mostly her shirt - then she will crawl around with it on top of her head. Strange, I know...

She also calls her Poopsie quite often. Anything can be a phone...in this case, she called from her shoe :)

We have a nugget eater. She ate 4! Yep 4! all with her leg propped up! She is a funny girl :)

Aunty H likes to play Dress Up!! We only did three outfits because Haylie didn't want me to get too cranky for my close ups but we got some really really cute ones! See for your self.

2009

We are off to a great start in 2009 - So much has happened since our first big girl bath!

We had our 9 month appointment. I cannot believe that we are now 2, yes 2 months away from Ainzley's first birthday. The doctors visit was fine - only one shot. Not too many tears :) She is tall and lean, weighing only 17.5 pounds and measuring 27.5 inches. We had a short wait before the doctor actually saw us, so Ainzley decided to occupy herself...

We were given the go-ahead to start feeding her "off the table". So we have been trying new foods. I think Ainzley wants to be Italian. That is what she likes the best. Spaghetti O's are a fave. She also likes Alfredo noodles. She takes her food very seriously :)


She can be quite the jokester too...one of her newest tricks is biting the spoon before you can get it out of her mouth. Funny girl...



Oh, I almost forgot. Evan introduced her to the PopTart. She found a piece of it and helped herself. Needless to say, she would not give it up....

Our biggest accomplishment so far in 2009 is that we have mastered crawling. Ainzley is EVERYWHERE! And she is fast too! And she doesn't waste any time. She has already started pulling up on the furniture. Actually she is pulling up on everything - it is pretty much impossible to get her to sit down...even in the bath.

It's okay though - it makes it easy to pinch that cute little booty :)
